When in the hot and sticky, southern section of Ho Chi Minh City, unless one is fairly familiar with what is going on in the world, one may not even realize, at first, that they are actually in the place that used to, once, be known as Saigon.
Whether one is working at a language school or at a public school, the pay is pretty substantial for a teacher here, standing at roughly fifteen to sixteen dollars per hour.
This particular salary is most definitely more than enough to live on in this society.
